Day 3

We got a good night sleep despite the gunfire from Camp Lejeune.   We woke up to beautiful sunny skies and we made our way with following winds and tides down to Wrightsville Beach where we met my good buddy Dennis at the dockside restaurant for a late lunch.  Picked up a Mooring ball at Carolina Beach and had a nice stroll on the boardwalk with Allie testing the bark collar….she wore out the battery!  We hope by the time we get to the Bahamas, she will be used to people and dogs in strange towns.

  1. Has Allie gone to the doggy bathroom on the boat yet?

    1. Hey Kim, we tried and tried to get her to use the bathroom on the boat with no luck. So today we finally threw away the indoor outdoor carpet that we were trying to train her on. We will just resort to finding a beach or a dinghy dock in a town for her to Relieve herelf and it has worked out so far so good three days into our adventure.
