Day 26
Jessica and I left Jensen Beach this morning and made our way to Stuart Florida. We met up with a Boat mechanic to look at the diesel engine transmission minor leak. He tweaked a few things iand ordered a gasket kit that we are planning to ihave him nstall on Monday or Tuesday. We saw one manatee as we picked up a mooring ball here in the Cove called Manatee pocket. We had a nice cruise in the dinghy this evening and checked out the laundry and shower facilities. Tomorrow we plan to hitch a ride with an Uber, and do some much needed grocery shopping. Then we plan on having a relaxing afternoon on the beach. Enjoy the warm weather today! I’m in Clearwater Beach today and it feels like summertime. Tomorrow it’s getting into the 40’s here. Hope y’all stay warmer! I’m counting down the days to meet you guys for the crossing! I just don’t know what numbers to use, lol…I’ll be prepped and ready! And yes, pork chops and apple sauce, I loved the Brady Bunch! Maybe we can stream some episodes when we’re cruising and see how different it feels to watch it 40 years later. Love, Kim
ReplyDeleteI loved the Brady Bunch growing up so much that I used to watch it and tape the audio with my little cassette player and play the show back…. This was way before VCRs. I just loved the show so much l wanted to keep watching it….. definitely will be fun watching it together as we are now a tad bit older 😌

That water is starting to look right blue! You're close to the Hobe Sound/Jupiter Beach stretch that I remember had some beautiful water. How great you got close to some manatees--they're amazing. We look forward to your posts--thanks again for sharing your cruise!
