Day 28

We are held up In Stuart waiting on a weather window to cross over to the Bahamas. Jessica took the opportunity today and did some laundry. I changed the oil in the diesel engine and the Honda generator. We took a nice slow dinghy ride through Manatee pocket. We attempted to buy a bag of ice from the marina, but they were closed so the bartender next-door gave us a few scoops of ice in a grocery bag so we could make pina coladas on Methuselah. We also went for a walk in the neighborhood this evening with Alli and saw some chickens in a tree….first time for everything.  And we played a game of Wheel of Fortune, and as usual Jessica won with no missed letters. The highlight of the day was making dinner together with Campbell Soup cream of mushroom soup along with some chicken and rice, it was a 10. Absolutely delicious. And Mom, this time I did not make Jessica pick out the mushrooms from the cream of mushroom soup. Ha ha.

We left NB on Wednesday and arrived to Georgetown, SC today had some fantastic weather along the way.
Tonight is a different story. Windy and cold.
Hope your weather window to cross comes soon. Fair winds,
