Day 50

Dad always said work before fun so Jessica and I started out doing some chores today.  Jessica made five batches of rice and purified some drinking water. I gassed up the dinghy and generator and put some more propane in the grill 1 lb bottles, and defrosted the freezer.  We are still anchored at the southern tip of elbow cay, and we went back to Tahiti Beach, but this time we went with an appetite for some good old fried french fries, and juicy hamburgers, which we had not had in a long time. If you can imagine a food truck, but it is a boat on the sandbar, that is where we had our lunch. We put up the Shimbuni and I went snorkeling, then we took a stroll down some of the beautiful streets and looked at the homes overlooking the waves breaking on the rocks.

  2. Wow, floating fried food....that must have been a real treat. Maybe you will spot a pontoon selling pasta! Yum

Scott, I'm anxious to see some GoPro footage of creatures under the sea snorkel. 😊
