Day 54
This morning we went over to the canvas shop and rented bikes for the day. Jessica thought it would be a good idea to wear her UV protection long sleeve shirt. However, after the third uphill stretch to the south end of the cay, she realized the shirt did not breathe like she thought, and she was very hot. So we cut the morning bike ride a little bit short and found an excellent grill called On-Da-Beach grill which overlooked the ocean. Then we went to the pool that has $25 piña colada‘s and we drink water! Met some folks that grew up in Raleigh and live in Clearwater near Kim. Such a small world! The 24 hour bike rental was still valid when the sun began to cool things off around 4 o’clock, so Jessica and I explored the north end of elbow cay. We are getting used to the Sandy and Rocky roads, but riding a bike on the left side of the road is still not coming natural. It was weird to see beautiful mansions in between houses that were still devastated by Hurricane Dorian 6 years ago.
Glad you are getting exercise and protecting the earth at the same time...lol These signs are so fun.... Jupiter??? Did you add Pine Level? It is growing and growing. Scott I finally figured out how come your selfies turn out so well...it's your height....everything from ten feet up looks their best from a photographic point of view.
