Day 55 Marsh Harbor and Mermaid Reef

Left Hopetown this morning and headed to Marsh Harbour for the third time. This time was to get water and groceries. And of course to eat at the best Conch salad shack (that Kim discovered) that we have found. Jessica made friends with a local boy while waiting for the conch salad to be made. I got firsthand instruction on how to release the conk animal from the shell.  Then we made our way back to mermaid reef to anchor for the night. I went out looking for lobster and Jessica stayed on the beach with Alli and they got soaked during a rain storm since I was oblivious to the rain while snorkeling.  I thought for sure my bathing suit had blown off the lifeline in the days past, but Jessica found it in the dinghy with all the other sandy stuff we just leave in the dinghy to keep sand off of Methuselah like wet suits, dog leash, masks, Shimbuni, fins, lobster bag, spear, etc.
