Day 57 Waiting on Weather to sail to Elethura
Well, today’s weather is not what you would think of for the Bahamas. It has been blowing out of the northeast 20 to 25 all day and it was rocking the boat all night. It was difficult for me to sleep, but Jessica had no problem. As soon as the first crack of light appeared, I implemented my plan that I had been thinking of since 3 AM. I attached a stern line to the anchor to pivot us into the ocean swell on the port quarter and the wind wave chopp on the other quarter so it changed our anchor sway momentum from left and right to up and down, which has helped tremendously. Jessica purified some water and despite being on board for two months when Jessica pumped the head today, seagrass came into the toilet and she asked if that was normal. I said yes, proceed as normal . Then we took this opportunity to spend time on board together and play a game of sequence. We both won a round so the tiebreaker will be in the evenings to come. Tonight is leftover lobster that we chopped up into ceviche a few hours ago. We started to get cabin fever and had to take a walk on the beach, so we weathered the waves in the dinghy with our foul weather gear and made it over to the beach, which was the softest sand we had ever encountered.

Well first of all, I almost got seasick just reading the description of the waves, 🤢. Secondly, seaweed in the toilet is normal? Thirdly, you're eating leftovers... Lobster.. I'm literally shaking my head
