Day 59 Great Guana Golf Cart Tour

This morning we went to the dive shop and rented a golf cart for the day. We toured around the island at least until we got to the northern and southern ends that were private, and they would not let us through. However, we found a beautiful secluded beach that was absolutely breathtaking. We walked the beach and sat in some Adirondack chairs and watched a cruise ship go by and thought about the crowds on board and how we had this whole beach to ourselves. We found a grocery store that was absolutely beautiful, although still not a Harris Teeter by any means.  After the sun went down, we took the golf cart out one last time to look at the Christmas lights. We are very impressed about how friendly the locals are. We are still getting used to driving on the left side of the road and no street lights.  We have been listening to Jimmy Buffet Christmas music and tonight is pork chops with apples and brussels sprouts.
