Day 66 Sundowner With New Friends

We sailed back to the outskirts of Spanish Wells and anchored beside Pig Beach. Yes there are tons of pigs and piglets and tourist pay money to swim with them. To us they were kind of gross and we had no desire. We did some snorkeling at the nearby reef.  Jessica saw a lion fish and I saw a queen angel fish among many others. When I saw a spiny lobster and I cocked the Hawaiian sling, I realized the tip had fallen off. So no lobster tonight. I made a dinghy run into town and got gas, water, diesel. Jessica did a deep clean down in the cabin and it looks superb. We met up with a couple anchored nearby from Oriental. This is their 20th winter coming here and their last trip. It was such a joy to get to know Jerry and Donna and we soaked up the tips that they have learned along the way.

  1. Hawaiian sling, well I can't wait to learn what that is all about. I'm glad you're making friends and enjoying their company.
