Day 67 grocery run, and last day at Spanish Wells

Jessica and I made a grocery run today. We stopped by the liquor store on the way, and they happen to deliver liquor. So instead of delivering our beer and rum, the driver took us to the grocery store, then back to the dinghy after our shopping.  He was super friendly and excited to hear about our trip. As a matter of fact, almost everyone in the Bahamas are super, super friendly.  We also topped off our freshwater tanks with our 5 gallon  Jherry cans. Jessica had a good talk with Wanda on the telephone, and I made a snorkel swim to the nearby reef. No lobsters or conch and I am suspecting it is because of the popular swimming with the pigs thing/snorkeling/lobstering business that the locals do on this island.  Every day we are in awe of God’s creation on this Earth!

  1. Beautiful picture of dusk....just incredible. Everyone seems so laid back and easy going...you guys must fit right in. I did the last grocery run before Christmas today ... The traffic and stores are so congested. No place to park...lines of grumpy people. I did buy a turkey today to have when you all get back ..and it cost less than a pound of ground beef!
