Day 69 Snorkeling with the GoPro
Woke up this morning at first light, and I asked Jessica if she wanted to hike over to the Queen’s baths to see the sunrise. I was pleasantly surprised with a yes, reply. We walked over and expected to see the sun rise out of the ocean to the east. However, being the winter solstice, I forgot how much southeast the sun rises this time of year. Therefore, we witnessed the sun after it rose above the limestone cliff, and it was still spectacular. We watched the waves hit the baths at a higher tide than yesterday and we’re impressed by the power of mother nature. Then we sailed south toward Alicetown while looking for Lenny Kravitz airstream trailer. We never did see his getaway, however, we saw an excellent reef which we snorkel around for three hours on. Then we made our way to Alicetown and have set the anchor for the next northern blow that starts tomorrow.

Spectacular pics and videos today!

I wondered if the tide refilled the baths ..I bet it was rocking and rolling...a real whirlpool.
ReplyDeleteLoved the rock formations.
The water is so clear...and the turquoise color looking up at Methuselah's keel...did I use that term correctly?
