Day 93 Moved to Staniel Cay to Hide from Upcoming Cold Front
Notice scale above cashiers arm..
First time having to put bug screens in hatches.
In preparation for the upcoming cold front blowing through, we moved south to Staniel Cay to hide from the west winds that are approaching tomorrow. We met up with our friends, Tim and Carolyn from North Carolina that we had not seen since Georgia. We walked into town to scope out the village and were amazed by the scale that the cashier used to weigh our tomatoes. It was just like the kind I used in seventh grade science class with the sliding counter weights. We saw 10 nurse sharks waiting to be fed at the marina from fish carcasses. Jessica was ready to pet some nurse sharks, but she wanted someone else to go first and there were no takers. But there should be plenty of time for that in the near future.

Jessica, I know you swam with dolphins, and you're on one heck of an adventure, but they make shark cages for a reason. I know nurse sharks are supposed to be docile, but did you ever think they're called nurse sharks because after they bite you they give you a Band-Aid? Just throwing that out there.
