Day 119 18 Mile dinghy ride to the Tropic of Cancer Line

Last night, Jessica and I took the dinghy over to the local bar on the beach that is adjacent to where we are anchored. It was low-key, about a dozen people, and we watched the
Super Bowl. We mostly enjoyed the commercials and talked through the football playing. We found a spot on the beach with cushy chairs that was just far enough away that we could bring our own drinks, but yet still get service for food. The up lights on the palm trees were absolutely beautiful.  When I placed the order for four appetizers, the waiter said is that all for you? Then he said that Jessica and I can  eat a lot of food.  It had just been weeks since we went to a real restaurant so we splurged.   Wngs, chicken tenders and nachos. Who could resist!!! This morning, Jessica tidied up down below and I made two dinghy runs into town to get water. Then we took a 9 mile dinghy ride to the spot that our friend Glen told us about. A meandering stream through the sandbars led to the ocean side where it was absolutely beautiful. Again, the colors of the water never cease to amaze us. Can there actually be so many shades of blue??
