Day 120 Art Trail

One of the longest beaches we have seen in the Exumas is right here next to our Mooring ball, so I dropped Jessica off at the beach because she wanted to stroll on the beach, while I waited for our new Mooring ball to become available (which we have booked for the next five nights because we love this spot). After Jessica‘s walk, we had leftover chicken curry, which we made from scratch, then we took the dinghy to the beach and hiked the Art Trail where people made random pieces of art with plastic and other debris found on beaches. At the end of our walk, we met up with our friends, Steve and Donna from Blackbeard Sailing Club. We sat on the beach and chitchatted for a bit about our journey to the Bahamas and interesting hiking trails here in the Georgetown area.  Tomorrow we plan to hike again as it should be the last day of cooler temperatures in the low 70s. The water is still 78, but we are looking forward to putting our mask and fins back on as warmer weather is forecasted in the days to come.

  2. I remember posing for either stone man or plywood man 25 years ago, just can't remember which one.
