Day 163 Haircut, Gardens Tour

Jessica grew up knowing to stay away from white sketchy looking vans, but this one was hard to resist. Just kidding, cute picture.

Florigami is art where you fold paper to make flowers, this is an example of a turtle made with no cuts in the paper, only folds.

Dinghy ride back to Methusala. This marina rafts two boats to each Mooring ball.

We really have been enjoying our time at Vero Beach. There is a free trolley that comes to the marina as one of their numerous stops around town. We rode the trolley to a Thai restaurant for lunch and our taste buds went cray cray! The restaurant happened to be near a barber shop, so I broke down and sat in the barber chair and at the last minute, decided to keep my hair relatively long and just get it shaped up (for now), as opposed to getting it short like it was before. Jessica is waiting for her haircut when she is back home and can go to “her person”. The highlight of the day was touring McKee Botanical Gardens. The theme this month was florigami. This is art in which paper is folded into certain shapes of animals and flowers. It was absolutely beautiful. It is the oldest tourist attraction in Florida.

This is the largest wooden board in the world.
