Day 174 Celebrating Easter at a Famous Church, and new friends in Jacksonville
New friends even though they are on a troller, not a sailboat, we got along just fine. Ha ha.
Engine room!
Jessica and I started the day out by attending Easter morning church service at the Presbyterian Church that was erected by the infamous Henry Flagler. The stained glass windows, golden artwork, and beautiful wood and musical instruments was a really special way to worship God on Easter morning. We sailed north on the intercoastal waterway and ended up on the outskirts of Jacksonville on a dock that has four trollers docked here. Three of the four couples are from Oriental and Beaufort, which is only 20 miles from New Bern. They had us over for hors d’oeuvres and we had some good conversation about local places back home. We are hunkering down for three days of windy and wet weather. So glad to be with my soulmate during this time.
Happy Easter!!!
