Day 176 Cold outside but our hearts are melting

 

Well, we are still waiting on weather to continue North because it is too rough to comfortably sail. But fortunately, we are on a dock with a catamaran full of kiddos (see yesterday’s blog).  We got an Uber to the local Walmart and picked up our groceries along with some sidewalk chalk for the kids. They enjoyed drawing on the dock concrete with the chalk and were excited for Jessica and I to come look at their artwork. They were so appreciative that Averly, Ben, and his younger brother baked Jessica and I a loaf of bread. It was hot and delicious on this cool drizzly day. Our hearts melted as they delivered it to Methuselah, and yes we ate some before dinner.
